Membership Information

How you can join in all the fun?

• There are five Krewes in Springtime Tallahassee. Each Krewe offers 50 "memberships". There must be an opening in the Krewe that you want to join. A member shall be a person of good character and community standing, and take an active interest in the promotion of the City of Tallahassee, our community, and Springtime Tallahassee, Inc.
• Members are entitled to all rights and privileges of the corporation, including the right to nominate officers, vote and hold office.
• Financial obligations:
  • $25.00 Application fee.
  • $450.00 Annual Dues (over 35 years of age)
  • $350.00 Annual Dues (under 35 years of age)
  • Annual Krewe Dues (set by each Krewe, approximately $50-150.)
• Each new member must complete 10 hours of volunteer work for the Springtime Organization.
• Members must complete four hours of volunteer work for their Krewe.
• Each Krewe has a monthly individual Krewe function (meeting and/or party).

Springtime Member Events

• Fall Kick-Off Party (September)
• Twelfth Night Ball - Black Tie Gala (January)
• Float Gloat Party - (Thursday before the Grand Parade)
• Festival Reception - Black Tie and Krewe Costume - Meet all of our out-of-town festival guests (Friday before the Grand Parade)
• Crash Party - After a hectic three days and nights of non-stop working, it's Crash Time! (Held the night of the Grand Parade)

2010-2011 SPRINGTIME TALLAHASSEE BELLES AND GENTS PROGRAM REGISTRATION

Children and grandchildren of Springtime Tallahassee Members are eligible, invited, and encouraged to join the Springtime Tallahassee Belles and Gents organization. Annual dues must be paid at time of registration.

- Belles and Gents:
  Grades 9 through 12
  $100.00 per Belle or Gent; $85.00 for each additional child

- Junior Belles and Gents:
  Grades 6 through 8
  $80.00 per Belle or Gent; $65.00 for each additional child
